This item was powered on the green light switch is shown on in pictures, System boots up and powers up , the fans are heard running smoothly , there is a light section on this machine that is on and pictured. This item was not hooked up to display to be tested or ran with its software or testing upon any items that it is used for , used for measuring light transmission/absorbtion. Did not test these features but the unit does have light in it. Could be used for donor parts or repairs to other machines or tried on its own for its purposes.
